The High Performance Diesel Y60 GQ Patrol Front Mount Intercooler Kit has been designed, tested and proven to improve the performance of your TD42 Engine. The kit comes with all the benefits that the HPD brand has been associated with including comprehensive research and development and industry leading warranties.

The kit requires a 70mm hole in front of the radiator support panel and trimming the back of the grill to suit the included intercooler core. However, after installation, reduced inlet temperatures and engine running temperatures, increased torque output, greater performance and reliability and more consistent and sustainable power will be experienced.

The kit includes a significantly larger core size than our standard intercooler, so you can expect to see substantial differences depending on other modifications made.  HPD also has an even larger kit available for this vehicle in the Series 2 range that suits cars with more extensive modifications such as turbo upgrades.
